Daniel Galán (2002) graduated in Physics from the University of La Laguna (Canary Islands, Spain) in 2024, and is currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics at the same institution. His academic interests include theoretical and computational physics as well as pure mathematics. He joined the group in July 2024 to work on optimizing the Tkatchenko–Scheffler van der Waals method.
