Yuto Iwasaki joined the group as a visiting researcher in October 2025. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Tohoku University in 2019. He then pursued his graduate studies at the same university, earning a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2021. He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Tohoku University in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Taku Nonomura. His doctoral thesis, titled “Data-driven Reduced-order Modeling of Separated Flow around Airfoil,” focused on predicting the future state of a flow field using reduced-order modeling. Currently, he is a researcher at Fujitsu Research, Fujitsu Limited. His research interests lie in developing machine learning interatomic potentials to simulate chemical reactions accurately.
