Suresh Kondati Natarajan

Suresh Kondati Natarajan joined as a post-doctoral researcher in the group in 2019. He had previously worked in the materials modelling for devices group at Tyndall National Institute, Ireland. Before joining Tyndall in 2017, he studied theoretical chemistry in Ruhr Universität Bochum (Dr. rer. nat., 2017). He is interested in developing machine learning potentials to simulate complex chemical systems such as solid-liquid interfaces with atomic resolution. He is also experienced in the first-principles simulation of chemical systems in the condensed phase. He has been an invited speaker at MSE congress 2018 held in Darmstadt, Germany and ‘ALD for industry’ workshop 2018 held in Dresden, Germany. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Government College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.
